I’m pleased to share that my piece “Resurrection” (based on the Shroud of Turin) is now on display with its new owner Callum Parr at The Gilded Hollow tattoo studio and curated space. Although my work is most often used in ultra-modern environments, this particular piece sits surprisingly well in a more heritage and craft setting. The deep orange tones and reflective surface complement the sage green walls and the carefully considered atmosphere of the studio.
Callum and I work in very different creative fields, but I’ve long been a fan of tattooing (I have a full sleeve and chest myself) and I’ve always admired his black and grey photo-realism. His studio is much more than a standard tattoo shop — the curated clothing and objects give it an elevated feel that makes the space distinctive. It’s always satisfying when a work finds the right context. “Resurrection” feels at home here !
