White Light Gallery returns to Stratford upon Avon
Nestled in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon, White Light Gallery burst onto the scene in 2019 as my flagship space for showcasing my luxury pop-art inspired by music, film, and cultural icons. As the artist behind it all, I poured my passion into creating pieces that blended high-end craftsmanship with edgy, hypnotic designs—think aluminium artworks and neon portraits that felt like the "Apple” or “Bang & Olufsen" of the art world. Sleek aluminium surface finishes and bold duotones, and that made every item a statement, whether it was a mugshot of Elvis Presley or a tribute to David Bowie.
From day one, it resonated with a diverse crowd from young music fans snapping up affordable limited editions for their flats to seasoned collectors adding statement pieces to their collections. Even through the chaos of the Covid years, the gallery thrived against the odds. We adapted with on-line sales and in-person appointments.
But by 2023, redevelopment hit hard: The neighbouring Debenhams store (shuttered during Covid) was slated for a new Hilton Hotel project, forcing us to close as part of the overhaul. It was gutting, but that's the unpredictable side of business and dealing with commercial property agents. Fast forward to 2025—the hotel plans got scrapped, and I've secured the space once more for a 6 month pop-up exhibition before new planned re-development. If you loved the original vibe, watch this space!
