“Resurrection” finds a new home at The Gilded Hollow

I’m pleased to share that my piece Resurrection (based on the Shroud of Turin) is now on display with its new owner Callum Parr at The Gilded Hollow tattoo studio and curated space. Although my work is most often used in ultra-modern environments, this particular piece sits surprisingly well in a more heritage and craft setting. The deep orange tones and reflective surface complement the sage green walls and the carefully considered atmosphere of the studio.

Callum and I work in very different creative fields, but I’ve long been a fan of tattooing (I have a full sleeve and chest myself) and I’ve always really admired his black and grey photo-realism style. His studio is much more than a standard tattoo shop — the curated clothing and objects give it an elevated feel that makes the space distinctive. It’s always really satisfying when a work finds the right context. “Resurrection” feels at home here, and I’m grateful to Callum for giving it a place on the wall !
